Testimony of Julien: from merchandiser to sales promoter!

At SIG, there are many opportunities for motivated and committed employees to develop their careers. Julien A., high-tech sales promoter, is a perfect example. Here's what he has to say about his career with the company, which has been rich in varied experience.

 

Presentation

Hello, my name is Julien A. I am currently high-tech promoter for the company Service Innovation Group.

Careers at Service Innovation Group

It was an acquaintance of mine who helped me discover SIG (Service Innovation Group). I have started my first missions in 2002 when I was a student.

At the time, I was carrying out one-off interventions for merchandising in food superstore, alongside my BTS. I made locationss, the relocationsthe restockings, the installation of POS material on behalf of several customers of GIS.

Then, once I had finished my studies, I worked for about ten years in the field of the car. Following a redundancy planI decided to return to SIG.

I therefore resumed assignments with SIG in 2013, still on a one-off merchandising basis. It wasn't long before SIG put their trust in me and I started working for them. evolved to a pilot merchandiser.

J'framing a team of merchandisers for large-scale installations, I ensured that the rules were respected. instructions and the shops. I ensured compliance with planogramsall in coordinating the activities of the merchandisers who accompanied me.

My relational with the shops, my efficiency in the assignments I was given meant that SIG entrusted me with more and more missions. A real relationship of trust has been established.

Then in 2015, I applied for for a developer SIG offered me a full-time job in the high-tech sector. It's a position I'm in today and one in which I'm thriving. I have the responsibility a shop network for which I am the guarantor of quality of the service and interpersonal skills.

I have also trained people on merchandising assignments for my client.

Professional contributions

Being able to evolve within SIG for a variety of assignments has been very beneficial.

All the assignments I have carried out have been enabled me to acquire autonomy and rigour, improve my interpersonal skills and use my experience to train colleagues..

Each job has its specifics and every customer is different. What's interesting is being able to discovering several distribution networks and markets, working on behalf of several manufacturers.

For each mission, SIG would pass on to me the training and tools necessary to achieve them. My contacts at SIG have always answer my questions and support me in my missions.

It's really rewarding and all these experiences that today I feel at ease and autonomous in my mission.

Career prospects within SIG

I had the chance and theopportunity to grow at SIG and I don't intend to stop there!

I wishes thereafter evolve to a sector manager within SIG. Only time will tell!

Conclusion

Julien A.'s career at SIG shows that it is possible to progress within the company, provided you are motivated and seize the opportunities that arise. Thanks to his commitment, he has risen through the ranks and now holds a rewarding position as a promoter. His encouraging experience may inspire other SIG employees to develop within the company.
