Disability Week at SIG

La Semaine du handicap chez SIG
21 November, 2018

On the occasion of the 22nd Disability Week at SIG, we have chosen to tell you about a
extraordinary person. She is Lucie, the muse of the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities.
Disabled people.

To help you understand our cause, we invite you to read the story
of this surprising woman.

This is his story...

At the age of 15, she discovered that she had cancer of the bone in her knee. As a result, she had half her leg amputated. In the face of this ordeal, this young woman received a great deal of support from those close to her. This led her to want to make herself useful for her cause. She therefore turned her university career towards research in the field of health. Her motivation enabled her to obtain her Bachelor's degree in chemistry and her Master's degree in organic synthesis.

In this context, she became the winner of the L'Oréal-UNESCO fellowship.

This young woman's distinguished career is a source of inspiration for all people with disabilities.

We have shared with you Lucie's very brave journey, but there are many others. By clicking on this LinkYou can discover several stories. One of them may remind you of the journey of someone close to you, or of your own...
