{"id":7243,"date":"2025-06-01T18:30:26","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T16:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sigeurope.fr\/?p=7243"},"modified":"2026-03-03T13:01:59","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T12:01:59","slug":"bilan-carbone-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sigeurope.fr\/en\/bilan-carbone-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Carbon footprint 2024: a decisive step towards accelerating our transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<article>\n<h1>Carbon footprint 2024: a decisive step towards accelerating our transition<\/h1>\n<p>Climate change is forcing companies to fully integrate the carbon issue into their strategy.<\/p>\n<p>For <strong>Service Innovation Group France<\/strong>The first step was to measure our real impact: now we've done it!<\/p>\n<h2>Why do our carbon footprint?<\/h2>\n<p>In a context where performance can no longer be considered without responsibility, <strong>our carbon footprint is a voluntary initiative, carried out for the year 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It represents a key lever for developing our practices, strengthening our transparency and supporting our customers in their own decarbonisation initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative has enabled us to :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Better understand the environmental impact of our operational activities (field missions, logistics, head office operations)<\/li>\n<li>Prioritise our actions in the short, medium and long term according to the most emissive areas<\/li>\n<li>Back up our CSR commitments with reliable, audited data<\/li>\n<li>Rigorously meet the growing expectations of our key account customers (<a href=\"https:\/\/ecovadis.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">EcoVadis<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/unglobalcompact.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">UN Global Compact<\/a>demanding calls for tender...)<\/li>\n<li>Fully integrating the environmental dimension into our overall performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>A certified and rigorous approach<\/h2>\n<p>This first assessment was carried out in 2024 by <a href=\"https:\/\/orki.green\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ORKI<\/a>a firm specialising in carbon accounting, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ademe.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ADEME's Bilan Carbone\u00ae methodology<\/a>recognised for its robustness and methodological rigour.<\/p>\n<p>It covers all our greenhouse gas emissions, broken down into the three main areas of analysis (scopes 1, 2 and 3), including our energy consumption as well as our purchasing, travel and activities in the field.<\/p>\n<p>The findings of this diagnostic confirm the importance of field activities in our carbon footprint: an observation that is fully consistent with our core business.<\/p>\n<h2>What's next?<\/h2>\n<p>The publication of this report is accompanied by an action plan for 2025-2030, in line with our CSR commitments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lever 1 :<\/strong> professional mobility<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lever 2 :<\/strong> responsible purchasing<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lever 3 :<\/strong> security and digital sobriety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have already launched internal initiatives in each of these areas, with the aim of reducing our emissions at source. Our approach is based on a logic of continuous improvement, with progressive reduction targets, which will be presented in our next reports.<\/p>\n<h2>What role for our customers and partners?<\/h2>\n<p>We believe that the ecological transition must be built with the whole of our ecosystem. Thanks to this assessment, we are in a position to open up a more precise dialogue with our customers and suppliers, and to co-construct more sober practices, throughout the value chain, by relying on the sense of responsibility and commitment of our employees.<\/p>\n<h2>A collective and committed dynamic<\/h2>\n<p>This first carbon footprint is a benchmark for us.
