This will be a small revolution for customers and supermarkets, who are already preparing to change their habits.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">17 billion plastic bags are distributed<\/span>and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">8 billion are left in the wild<\/span>. Used for only a few minutes, they take hundreds of years to degrade and are often ingested by marine animals and birds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To combat this pollution, the government has voted to ban the delivery of single-use plastic bags (originally planned for 1 January 2010).<sup>er<\/sup> January) in supermarkets. Although the measure has been postponed, it should still be taken before the end of March.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the decree is not yet ready, the <strong>mass distribution<\/strong> is!
