Over the last few years, convenience stores have become a magnet for retailers. As a result, several chains are in fierce competition with each other = Monoprix, Leader Price, Carrefour City, A2pas (Auchan Group), ....<\/p>\n

When proximity rhymes with modernity!<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

To attract new urban consumers, there is a need for modern, user-friendly shops<\/strong> that look like them.<\/p>\n

The habits of these consumers<\/span> have changed =<\/h2>\n

  • The working hours have been extended<\/span> = Working hours start at 8.20am and finish at 5.22pm.<\/li>\n
  • Although lunch at home is no longer the preferred option, for 48% meal is at the workplace<\/span>. The time devoted to lunch has decreased<\/span> (35 minutes on average)<\/li>\n
  • The average shopping time is 1h11. 80% of urban dwellers shop once a week for the whole week. However, 52% say they lack storage space and 30% say they shop from day to day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This is how the local retail sector has transformed itself (particularly under the impetus of the Monoprix group) by extending opening hours<\/strong>, highlighting products that can be eaten on the premises<\/strong>, by offering more urban brands<\/strong> ...<\/p>\n
