Let's go and meet him!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3592\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigeurope.fr\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/quotation-mark1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">Hello Laurent, to begin with, what is your background and experience?<strong style=\"color: #1b1b1b;\"><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\"><strong style=\"color: #1b1b1b;\"><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">n 30s\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/strong>?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I started my career as a sales assistant in a discount household appliance chain in Lyon. I progressed to manager after a few years. I then joined Bose, when the brand decided to launch its own shops in France. I had the good fortune and opportunity to work my way up to shop manager and then regional manager, until the brand decided to close all its shops worldwide. I recently joined SIG as KAM. It's been just over six months now!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">What does your job involve?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KAM's job - to try and sum it up in a few words - is to be the privileged link between the customer and the field. It involves meeting the customer's specifications, while playing a managerial and operational role with the teams. It also involves ensuring financial and accounting control in order to manage the profitability of the assignment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">But tell us... How do you go from manufacturer to service provider?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When the Bose adventure came to an end, I wanted to stay in the same sector, namely hi-fi, because I'm passionate about music! Unfortunately, there are very few brands that distribute under their own name. And in any case, I was too attached to the brand to go back to a competitor.<\/p>\n<p>Choosing a service provider was a challenge for me. I knew that I had to adapt constantly and that flexibility was essential. The approach is also different: the brand becomes a customer and we are at its service. I also really liked the principle. Finally, the fact that Bose trusts SIG was a huge factor in my choice.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">What made you want to join SIG?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I wanted to continue to develop and progress in my role as a manager. I saw SIG as a great opportunity to explore environments other than retail, with the aim of discovering other brands while working in a different way.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">What do you enjoy most about your job?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It's very important to me that our teams feel confident in their mission. That's how they can give their all to achieve the objectives set. I like to play the role of coordinator and ensure that we respond to a problem with a solution. Finally, what I enjoy most is working in a team and constantly challenging myself to deliver the best.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">Who do you work with on a daily basis?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I work with all the operational teams at head office in V\u00e9lizy and with the teams in the field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">How do you see SIG as a partner in helping brands develop their sales and commercial performance?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I think that SIG's ability to react and adapt is far superior to that of other brands. In my opinion, that makes all the difference. I've been able to observe this in my day-to-day work and through my teams. The short reaction times and speed of execution demonstrate our ability to manage and handle problems. This is due both to SIG's long experience in service provision and to the hard work and commitment of our teams. We make ourselves available and listen to our customers: they are very sensitive to this. This relationship of trust is a strong basis for developing results.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">What are the challenges of your job?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You need to be well organised. When you're managing several assignments at once, you can run out of time. You always have to be available for your teams and your customer.<\/p>\n<p>We also need to be able to understand and satisfy the customer's needs. This is what will make customers decide to renew their trust in us, by signing a new contract, for example.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">In your opinion, what are the key issues facing brands in the months ahead?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As far as the high-tech brand I support is concerned, the past year has been rather good in terms of results. It is one of those brands that took advantage of the health crisis to see its results rise significantly. This year, the brand's mission is obviously to do just as well. In fact, we will be expected to ensure that our product launches are well executed, and that we are able to provide perfect service on a daily basis, always with an eye for detail. The aim is to do even better this year.<\/p>\n<p>More generally, brands believe in close relationships with retailers. They are continuing to invest more and more in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sigeurope.fr\/en\/metiers\/force-de-vente\/\">sales forces<\/a> to establish themselves throughout the country, in order to increase their visibility, build relationships with points of sale and develop their sales. This is essential if they are to reach as many consumers as possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Thank you Laurent for sharing!
