Interview with Magali QUIRICONI (Field Manager, previously for the South West region and since October 2016 for the East region)<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

1\/ You've just celebrated 20 years with our company. Can you tell us a bit about your career?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

I joined B&W Marketing on 01\/03\/1997 as an Agency Assistant and then as a data entry operator for merchandising reports at the head office in Aix En Provence. I managed the Paris region.<\/p>\n

In 1998, I was assigned to the Customer Invoicing department and signed my permanent contract. In between, I typed up agreements, managed document dispatch and even worked as a receptionist.<\/p>\n

When BW and SIG merged in 2007, I was offered the job of merchandising assignment manager, then in 2011 the job of field manager for the SOUTH-WEST region, then the EAST region to date.<\/p>\n

2\/ In 20 years you've seen society evolve, in what areas?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Without hesitation, the field of computer processing. At the time, agreements were sent by fax and even some by Minitel.<\/p>\n

The intervention reports were in triplicate, in carbon, one white sheet, one yellow sheet and one pink sheet.<\/p>\n

3\/ What has been Evolution's greatest success?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The arrival of KHEOPS ...<\/p>\n

We used to work on the AS 400. We had to organise everything in duplicate on the 2 pieces of software to carry out the handover.<\/p>\n

As far as I'm concerned, this software has changed everything.<\/p>\n

4\/ As regards the Field Manager role, how did this department function 20 years ago?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

20 years ago, all the departments were well separated and in the merchandising department, there was no need to have contact with the Animation department. What's more, this was done regionally, much as it is today. We had several agencies in France: Aix En Provence, Toulouse, Rennes, Lyon and Paris. In Paris, the agency was based on a barge in the Port Gallieni.<\/p>\n

5\/ How do you see society in 20 years' time?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

In 20 years' time, I think there will still be a lot of evolution, at least I hope so.<\/p>\n

6\/ Do you think you'll still be around in 20 years' time?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

You never know what can happen in life, so I hope so.<\/p>\n

In 20 years' time, I'll be approaching retirement age and I'll have spent my entire professional career at BW \/ SIG.<\/p>\n
