So I've gained a lot of commercial experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After 10 years in the business, I wanted to discover something new. So I applied for individual training leave to take a course in a new field. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">multimedia graphic designer training<\/span>. This enabled me to bounce back and work in book publishing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After five years, I once again wanted to develop and get involved in the organisation of the company. After careful consideration and a review of my skills and desires, I decided to move into <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Human Resources<\/span>. In 2016, I took a Human Resources Management course (equivalent to BAC +4).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The internship I'm doing today at SIG is the final stage in this training programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It will enable me to apply the theory I have acquired during my training in the field.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>MY MISSION AT SIG<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">My job at SIG is to set up the Professional Interviews under the responsibility of S\u00e9bastien de VILLE, who is Head of Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The professional interview is quite distinct from the annual appraisal interview. It is an opportunity for the employee and the company to take stock of their career and skills, and to lay the foundations for defining a career plan.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>WHAT I LIKED ABOUT SIG<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When I saw the advert at SIG, two things caught my eye =<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 1<sup>era<\/sup>The first step was to apply online, sending only my CV. The next step was to register <strong>two delayed videos<\/strong> on the recruitment area of the website to explain my motivation for joining the company. I'd never recorded a video before, and taking up this challenge was much more interesting than writing a conventional covering letter. SIG has a recruitment process that stands out from the crowd from the outset, and it's at the very heart of what we do.<strong>mage of the company's dynamism<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second thing I liked was the activity: sales, sales, promotion, shelves... It's a world I know - in the world of books - and it gives me a few points of reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SIG offers a warm welcome. The 1<sup>er<\/sup> I got in touch with Julie Tache, who's a Payroll and Human Resources Manager. She was the person I spoke to on the phone to invite me to my recruitment interview.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was then in direct contact with S\u00e9bastien de VILLE during a recruitment interview.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This first impression was confirmed when I arrived 10 days ago. I was greeted by the HR team, given a desk and a computer, given a tour of the offices and told how the company worked. I was even able to park my car in the car park!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It seems like common sense, the minimum requirement, but these conditions are far from being met in all companies and that's why I want to make it clear: thank you all for your welcome, the smiles, the words of welcome.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was also able to go on my first in-store tour to see, first-hand, the reality of the work done by our temporary workers, in my first week at SIG. It was very interesting and it was good to be able to do it so quickly.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em><strong>A WORD FROM THE HRO, S\u00e9bastien DE VILLE<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Career interviews are a strategic issue for SIG employees. In fact, in addition to the legal requirement for these interviews, we have a real desire to develop skills management within the company. Internal mobility is clearly a strong point at SIG.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>These interviews will enable all employees with permanent contracts and intermittent employees with 2 years' seniority to talk about their career path (before and at SIG) and their career aspirations.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Barbara's recruitment was a step in this direction, as we wanted to recruit a candidate who was both a personality and had real HR skills. She also has professional experience in retail, which is at the heart of our business. She has also been through a number of training and career transition phases. So she's even better placed to understand and assist employees in this type of process. This is a key element of the professional interviews.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Over the next few months, we will be working on the full implementation of these professional interviews, which we will call at SIG <\/em><strong><em>\u00a0\"HR Interviews.\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><em>The law does not require us to follow any particular formalism, so we are going to use the same procedure.<\/em><em>evelop tools and communications tailored to the different professions in which our employees work.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MON PARCOURS \u00a0J\u2019ai un parcours atypique.
